What luggage fits in your transfer from PMI: suitcases, baby strollers, golf/bikes and how to notify us to assign the correct vehicle (no extra fees for luggage).
Quick answer: We do not charge extra fees for suitcases, but we need to know how many and what type (stroller, golf, bike…) to assign the correct vehicle. This ensures you travel comfortably from PMI.
Honestly: we prefer you to “over-inform” us. It is better to arrive with a larger car than to find a surprise surfboard with a tight trunk (and you waiting in Arrivals).
At Fly Transfer Mallorca we have a very clear policy: we do not charge extra fees for suitcases. However, luggage is the number one factor that determines whether your transfer will be comfortable or a puzzle of pieces that don’t fit.
It’s not about money, it’s about capacity and safety. If you are traveling with 4 people and each one brings a large suitcase, we need to know so we can send you the vehicle with the appropriate trunk space.

📐 How do we calculate space?
To give you an idea of the logistics at Palma Airport:
1) Groups of 1 to 3 passengers
Normally, a standard vehicle has plenty of space for 3 large suitcases + hand luggage. You will travel comfortably.
2) Groups of 4 passengers
Here the trunk is usually at its limit. If there are 4 of you and you bring XL suitcases or a stroller, detail it in the reservation. We want to avoid having to “improvise” when arriving at the PMI Meeting Point .
3) Wheelchairs and reduced mobility
We accept foldable wheelchairs. If it is motorized or rigid, write to us beforehand via WhatsApp with measurements to confirm that we can transport it safely.
🚲 Bulky luggage: the challenge of large items
Mallorca attracts many athletes. If your luggage is out of the ordinary, here is what you should know:
- Bicycles: must be in a box or protective case. Due to length, they sometimes require a specific vehicle.
- Golf bags: they usually fit, but count as one large suitcase (keep this in mind when adding the total).
- Surfboards / paddle surf: due to length, they do not always fit in standard vehicles. We do not use roof racks for safety. Ask us for measurements before booking.
Quick message for inquiries: “Hi, we are 3 people with 3 large suitcases and 2 golf bags. Does it fit in a standard car?” → we will answer you quickly.
Do you have large items? Better to notify and we assign the right car
If there is golf, bike, surf or a stroller, the important thing is to detail it: this way we avoid surprises upon arrival.

Tip: send name + date + list of items (suitcases, stroller, golf, bike…).
🍼 Babies and children: more than just suitcases
If you travel with little ones, luggage multiplies: stroller, diaper bag, toys…
Remember that you can request baby seats and boosters totally free of charge. We provide the seat, but the stroller must be foldable so as not to collapse the trunk. Child seat guide .
🚫 Typical mistakes we want to avoid
- “We have little luggage”… and then appearing with 4 suitcases of 20 kg + backpacks. Be realistic so the driver doesn’t have visibility problems.
- Forgetting the baby stroller: it counts as a large item.
- Not indicating the exact number of passengers: by law and safety, we cannot carry more people than reserved. More info on groups and passengers .
📩 How to detail your luggage in the reservation (example)
When filling out the booking form , you will see a Notes field. Be specific:
“We are 2 adults and 2 children. We have 2 large suitcases, 1 folding stroller and 2 hand backpacks.”
With this info we assign the perfect car and you ensure that upon landing in Palma, you only have to get in and enjoy the scenery towards your hotel.

Do you charge a surcharge for suitcases?
No. We do not charge extra for standard suitcases. The important thing is to notify quantity and type to assign the correct vehicle.
Does the baby stroller count as luggage?
Yes. It counts as a large item. It must be foldable (if it is not, let us know beforehand).
Can I bring golf or a bicycle?
Yes, but you must indicate it when booking. Golf usually fits; bikes and long boards may require a specific vehicle.
What if I end up bringing more luggage than I stated?
Write to us as soon as possible (better the day before). If there is room, we adjust the vehicle. If it is the same day, WhatsApp and we will resolve it according to availability.
What if you are 5–7 passengers?
