1. Insurance and regulations: every occupied seat must be covered. If you book for 4 and 5 show up, the driver cannot start the journey.
2. The luggage factor: a 4-seater car with 4 large suitcases is already at its limit. If an “extra passenger” appears, the luggage won’t fit or will compromise visibility.
3. Real comfort: after a flight, the last thing you want is to cross the island squeezed in.
